About Jack

Jack started painting in 1961, He enrolled the same year as an evening student at Duncan of Jordanstone Collage of Art.

His studies incorporated life painting, still life, portraiture and illustration for 12 years, which resulted in being awarded class diplomas in all of the above subjects from Alberto Morroco, Neil Dallas Brown and Ron Stenberg.

In 1963 he joined the Dundee Art Society.

In 1975 he became a founder member and longest serving past President of Monifieth Art Society. He is also a current member of Broughty Ferry Art Society.

The success of Jack's work is reflected not only by repeated sales in the U.K. but also in the International arena such as Spain, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

His love of Scotland is typified by his area of expertise in Scottish Scenery and landscapes that make up the greater part of Jack's portfolio.
